$115,000 - $128,000 + Super + Salary Sacrifice The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region. The Quality and Innovation Unit provides leadership in the development, implementation and evaluation of services, programs and models of care for improving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health and Well-being. The Unit oversees key functions of policy and planning, data and health information management, innovation in service design and development, service quality and safety, and evaluation and research. About the Role The position of Project Manager – Service Development works under the direction of the Regional Service Development Manager in connection with the Clinical Quality and Innovation Team and in close collaboration with IUIH Network Service Leads, with responsibility for Project Managing: Design, development and implementation of innovative and expanded service delivery models; Systems and service reviews, service renewal and refresh, redesign, and continuous improvement; Scaling of successful system and service models to increase service reach and impact across SEQ. Day to Day Duties Include Coordinate with key stakeholders and oversee the coordination of the project plan, through stages of planning, design, development, and implementation, ensuring agreed milestones and outcomes are met. Working closely with leadership teams from the key areas of business to ensure consideration of growth is factored in during planning, development, and implementation stages. Develop, secure and/or allocate resources, procedures, and systems in line with the regional IUIH System of Care. Development of systems and resources to allow for service review, refresh and continuous improvement. Work closely with the IUIH Data team to ensure service delivery is in alignment with population data and increases accessibility to mob. Work with services to ensure governance structures are in place during and after expanded service delivery. Liaise with key stakeholders, service providers, managers and senior clinicians as relevant. Work with services to ensure effective processes are in place to allow for efficient use of space throughout service delivery locations. About You Demonstrated knowledge of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health services, embracing the principles and practice of community control. High level of knowledge, skill and experience working in comprehensive primary health care services and systems. Demonstrated high level skills and experience in project management in a healthcare and/or related service environment. Enthusiasm and ability to work flexibly and to rapidly adapt to changing environments, including shifting priorities and role requirements. Demonstrated high level of skill and experience working with teams supporting service implementation, change management and quality improvement. Current Criminal History Check. Valid Blue Card. Desirable, but not mandatory Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and/or communities. What Can We Offer?
