The S&P Department collaborates across all directorates to deliver seamless, systemic improvements, ensuring the success of vital initiatives. Reporting to the Corporate PMO Manager, the Project Manager Service Reviews will lead the facilitation, support, and continuous improvement of service reviews for the City of Greater Geelong. In this key role, you will ensure that all service reviews align with the City's Service Review Framework and Roadmap and are delivered in accordance with the Project Management Framework. Collaborating closely with business owners and project teams across the portfolio, you will facilitate stakeholder consultation and maintain the rigor necessary for effective decision-making by the Executive Leadership Team and Council. As the subject matter expert for the service review program, you will drive continuous improvement in planning and delivery while providing guidance and advice to project teams. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in service reviews, in a Local Government context. With an ability to effectively prioritize programs of work, the candidate will bring highly developed analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills to navigate challenging environments and deliver outcomes. With experience building relationships across various stakeholder groups, the candidate will possess interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to problem solve and work through complexity. Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMBOK, Prince2, and Agile, along with relevant legislation, policies, and practices related to council service delivery, will ensure your success in this critical position.
