An exciting opportunity exists for a Project Manager within the Strategy and Performance Mental Health and Specialised Services team who will be responsible for driving the initiatives funded through Better Care Together plan for Queensland's state-funded mental health, alcohol and other drug services and other service development initiatives, within Mental Health and Specialised Services. Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north. Key Responsibilities include: Manage the successful delivery of mental health initiatives and service development and evaluations in line with best practice methodologies. Develop project plans and apply appropriate project management techniques, methodologies, and tools, that ensure a well-documented approach to benefits realisation, risk and issue management and quality project outcomes. Lead the development of internal quality governance and reporting processes to support the Operational Director Strategy and Performance-MHSS. High level understanding and a comprehensive knowledge of contemporary health workforce related development, as well as state policies, directives and initiatives in workforce management, as they relate to Queensland Health. Remuneration value up to $15,182 p.m., comprising salary between $5,784.20 - $6,120.40 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO8) (Fixed Term Temporary Full time position available for six months with possible extension).
