You want to play a part in making NSW a better place to work, live and travel.This is your opportunity to broaden your experience and perspectives, step out of the confines of a standard project role and expand your scope to work with an interconnected ecosystem of industry professionals.In this role, you'll: Join the Coordinator General division and be responsible for managing the development and implementation of complex projects across the Ferry Portfolio, within the Public Transport Branch, such as the innovative introduction of e-vessels to the iconic Sydney Ferries Fleet. You will take a hands-on approach, actively addressing challenges, driving progress, and ensuring successful outcomes at every stage of the project. You will also: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, government policies, and regulations specific to ferry services, applying this knowledge to ensure successful project outcomes for partners. Prepare and provide regular updates on project progress, financial performance, and milestones, contributing to the development of clear, client-focused project documentation to support informed decision-making and highlight risks and successes. Ensure a smooth program handover, with clear accountabilities for operational business areas within the ferry services division. Develop and implement effective business and communication strategies for projects, programs, and initiatives across various ferry services divisions within TfNSW. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that plays a key part in enhancing ferry services across New South Wales. You’ll have the opportunity to directly impact the quality, efficiency, and sustainability of ferry operations, improving services for communities and commuters who rely on this vital mode of transport. About you You are a highly motivated Project Manager who thrives in an operational, fast-moving environment. You are a results-driven individual who embraces change, takes initiative, and remains focused on delivering outcomes, even when priorities shift. You are well-versed in the full spectrum of project management methodologies and principles and have a proven track record in delivering large-scale service improvement and/or operational projects.
