Add expected salary to your profile for insights McMahon Services is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to lead and manage dynamic water projects across a variety of sectors, including civil, infrastructure, and environmental engineering. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll guide your team through the full project lifecycle, from contract award through execution and close-out, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with McMahon Services’ objectives. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, contractors, and clients to develop innovative solutions, drive continuous improvement, and maintain strong relationships to achieve optimal project outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a dedicated team, including Senior Engineers, Project Engineers, and Graduate Engineers, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and projects are delivered successfully. Take charge of contractors, vendors, and suppliers to drive cost-effective project delivery. Utilize your analytical skills to monitor costs, forecast project completion, and maintain adherence to budget and schedule. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality procedures. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, promoting a customer-first mindset and collaborative approach. Be a proactive leader, driving continuous improvements in processes and outcomes across multiple projects. What we’re looking for A proven leader with experience in major construction or infrastructure projects, particularly in the water engineering sector (water treatment, wastewater, groundwater, drinking water). Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline. Strong experience in contract administration and management, including managing project scheduling, cost control, and forecasting. Proficiency in project management software (Microsoft Project, Primavera, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and ERP systems. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team. A safety-first attitude and deep knowledge of Australian Standards and health & safety legislation. Why McMahon Services?
