Experience Western Downs It's the people that make it The Opportunity You will be responsible for providing technical support and efficient project management services for the planning and delivery of capital works projects and/or maintenance programs. This position can be based at any of our major regional centres across the Western Downs Regional Council area (Dalby/Chinchilla/Miles/Tara/Wandoan). Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be: Undertaking civil engineering activities including minor survey and design, drafting, works programming, estimation, cost control, and computer-aided design. Preparing detailed scopes of work, specifications, tender, and contract documents. Assisting with the resolution of engineering and works-related customer requests which will involve community liaison, provision of technical advice and solutions, preparation of formal written responses, and the preparation of quotations for works received by the Community. Developing, implementing, and monitoring Project Management Plans. About yourself A person in this position will need to hold a: Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, OR be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience.
