Job Description

Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer As Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer (Civil / Structural Engineer) , you will be responsible for running multiple projects concurrently from concept through to completion, working closely with various clients to ensure milestones and outcomes are achieved. You will be supported by and report directly to the company director. Your responsibilities will include managing a project portfolio, with each project typically varying in size and value. Strong technical abilities required; we are seeking a Civil / Structural Engineer with a bachelor's degree or higher. Project initiation and planning, due diligence, engineering and design phase management, development approvals, tendering and procurement, and construction phases until close-out. Contract/commercial negotiation and control throughout the tender and construction phases will be key. Effective management of WHS & Environment, technical finesse/practical field engineering, and excellence in Quality Assurance/Control and Surveillance. Exemplary communication among all project stakeholders and excellent client relations. About You: Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering (preferably) or Civil / Structural Engineering. At least 5 years of project delivery experience as a project manager or senior project engineer. Ideally, experience working in local government and/or heavy industry with onsite construction site experience. Thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously. Consultative approach to stakeholder engagement with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Outstanding attention to detail with a solution-focused approach to problem-solving and a strong client focus. A can-do attitude with a proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
