Project Off Community & Industry Engagement NSW Fair Trading – Regulatory Engagement & Education Grade: Clerk Grade 7/8Salary range: $ 110,266 – $ 122,058 + superannuation and leave loadingDuration: Temporary, 4 months till 30 May 2025 with possibility of extensionLocation: Office attendance 2-3 days per week, Parramatta, Gosford, Newcastle with Regional locations considered, subject to office capacity. About the team The Community Engagement team engages with priority communities on behalf of NSW Fair Trading. Through our Community Voice Networks, we work collaboratively with stakeholders to engage with Aboriginal and multicultural communities, with people with disability, and with young people. We are looking for a Project Officer to join the Community Engagement team to lead engagement with the disability sector. Are you looking for meaningful work supporting the disability community? If you answered yes to the above and are looking for a rewarding role in a team committed to diversity and inclusion, we would love to hear from you: Your responsibilities will include Developing relationships with stakeholders supporting disability communities Delivering face-to-face and online community education and engagement sessions Facilitating quarterly Disability Community Voice Network meetings Contributing to the development of the bi-monthly Community Voice Network newsletter Occasional travel (including driving) is required to deliver stakeholder events About you Proven experience in delivering successful community engagement plans and activities. Good communication skills. Sound stakeholder management skills to build, influence, and collaborate with internal and external partnerships and networks. Experience in building capacity across internal work teams and with external communities. Experience in planning, delivering, and reporting on engagement activities.
