We have a newly created position for a Project Portfolio Manager to join our Information Technology team. Lead, Deliver and Excel. Challenge accepted. Transformative projects portfolio. About the role Reporting to the CIO, this role will lead and oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and governance of multiple transformation projects within our organisation. You will drive the alignment of these projects with overall business objectives, ensure effective resource utilization, work closely with senior stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes. Where required, you will step in to manage multiple projects from the portfolio. As a seasoned, high achieving Project Portfolio Manager, you will be adequately skilled to work in a challenging environment, managing multiple projects from inception, execution to completion. With the strength of your prior experience, you will immerse yourself into the role with ease. The excitement and challenge of this role will be your motivation and drive, to use your prior experience to transform current processes and practices to achieve project management excellence at Dentons. About you We would like to hear from Project Portfolio Managers who have been involved in building out a projects team, have successfully created and implemented best practice processes, and who are equally comfortable with being hands-on to manage and deliver projects – Strategy meets Execution. You will be an exceptional communicator who builds strong relationships with stakeholders, are outcomes focused, and will engage confidently with senior decision-makers to drive meaningful change to how we do things. Previous experience operating within a mid to large sized multi-national corporate setting would be an advantage. Initially, this role will commence on a 12-month fixed term contract basis. We will consider the role on a permanent basis for the right person.
