Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Project Systems Accountant to join the Barminco team. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for supporting the strategic and operational management of financial management systems and processes used across the Perenti Contract Mining division, namely Pronto Xi ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). Maintain and ensure integrity of reports through validation of data to source systems utilised across the Contract Mining division. Develop and update processes, workflows and proof of concepts for systems that benefit the Contract Mining division. Resolve processing and system errors that divisional accountants are unable to resolve. Assist finance teams globally on ERP system related queries and processes. Collaboratively engage with operations, maintenance and finance to highlight areas of underperformance and provide analysis support to identify the root cause(s). Build and educate teams as required. Assist in training sessions on Pronto Xi ERP modules. Monthly integrity and data quality checks. Training / Qualifications: Accounting and finance background combined with a business degree or equivalent. Advanced Excel and data analytics skills. Business Intelligence tools for reporting. Able to use Pronto Xi competently, with a willingness to learn other ERP systems. What We’re Looking For: Considerable experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system administration, maintenance, support, and development in a large and complex organisation. Well-developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills in relation to Enterprise Resource Planning systems and business processes. Experience in providing technical support to users, maintaining security, upgrade management, and testing. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present information in a clear and articulate manner. Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders, including internal staff, vendors, and third parties to deliver successful outcomes.
