Project and Change Manager - EL1 (Multiple roles) Our client, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), manages Australia's foreign policy, international aid, consular services, and trade relations, including through Austrade. About the Role DFAT is seeking multiple Project and Change Managers to support with project and change management services. This role will involve developing project documentation, managing business engagement, and integrating new products into existing business processes. Key Duties Collaborate with business areas, technical experts, and external resources to deliver project outcomes. Plan and coordinate project activities to ensure timely delivery. Develop and maintain key project artefacts such as project plans, status reports, and risk management documents. Create a communication and change strategy to align stakeholders and achieve project benefits. Manage project risks and ensure adherence to governance frameworks. Coordinate stakeholder engagement and feedback. Guide business owners and sponsors through change processes, ensuring ROI and benefits realization. Apply change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR) to assess and monitor implementation. Coach team members on change management best practices. To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of change management, with experience guiding stakeholders through transitions. Proven success in collaborating with teams to deliver projects, manage risks, and ensure governance compliance. Strong leadership, coaching skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
