With AMA Group, you can go anywhere. The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Project and Refurbishment Coordinator to join our AMA Collision team, based in Melbourne. This is a permanent full-time hybrid role, that will also involve at times interstate travel, and you will be provided with opportunities for growth, stability, and security as part of the bigger AMA Group. The Project and Refurbishment Coordinator is working within our Facilities and Growth team and responsible for the management/facility needs of the 70 production sites within the AMA Collision network. Services including managing maintenance, utilities, licensing, and regulatory compliance. This role should aim to provide best-in-class service to our operational leaders and site managers to ensure a safe, secure, and functional working environment is available for all our team members, incorporating reactive, preventative, and planned maintenance activities. Role Responsibilities Role model and lead a positive safety culture. Comply and provide safe practices and work environments in line with all AMA safety standards. Identify industry best practice opportunities and maintain industry awareness for facilities management trends. Maintain fire, emergency, security, regulatory, and compliance records for all sites. Assist and work closely with Operational Leaders and Centre Managers to identify and manage operational and maintenance requirements for our facilities including management of repairs to fixtures, fittings, and equipment. Ensure that works are carried out within agreed timeframes and according to priorities, to maintain daily operational running of the repair centres. Participate in on-call requirements respond to the Business Continuity Plan for facilities and unforeseen events as required, including being a critical contact as part of rapid response management & planning where failures, downtime, or safety events have occurred. Work closely with external contractors, including sourcing of quotations from suppliers who have relevant expertise and met regulatory standards. Including contractor on-site management, safety onboarding, and implementing self-service opportunities for sites with preferred suppliers and agreed rate cards. Assist in assessments of all facilities, including identifying non-compliance and rectification issues. Reporting on facilities management, including response times, ticket management, and recurring trends. Maintain fire, emergency, security, regulatory, and compliance records for all sites, including annual compliance certificates, property occupancy certificates, development agreements, fire safety services (AFSS), licences and registrations for operations and equipment. Other general administrative duties as required. Does this sound like you? Approx. 3+ years experience in a Facilities, Engineering or Building Management role, within a commercial environment. Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Programs (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft Project. Knowledge of all building trades and a commonsense approach to a range of maintenance issues. Strong organisational skills with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple deadlines. Ability to take responsibility for tasks and see them through to completion. Sound communication and presentation skills (clear & concise representation of critical information).
