$160-180k + super Newly created role About Our Client Our client is an Australian owned food manufacturer with multiple sites across Australia and 40 years in business. This Western Sydney site runs 24/5 with a mixture of older and newer machinery - some lines are more automated than others. They are heavily investing in upgrading this with $12 mil in CAPEX earmarked for additional automation and relaying of the site over the next 2 years. Job Description Reporting directly to the GM - Operations, your role will involve: 50% Reliability: Managing a team of maintenance planners and project managers Working cross-functionally with the maintenance team to drive preventive maintenance measures Embedding use of maintenance software Ensuring preventative maintenance measures align with production targets Ensuring OEE targets are met Driving CI/lean initiatives P&L management 50% Projects: $12 mil approved CAPEX for site in next 2 years Supporting various projects - new automation equipment/relaying site Working with suppliers and contractors as required CAPEX/OPEX The Successful Applicant We are looking for someone with: Degree in Mechanical Engineering Strong E&M experience in a food/beverage/other FMCG environment Experience in projects and reliability Strong people management skills Troubleshooting/technical skills Ability to communicate both up and down effectively Able to work in an agile and fast-paced environment What's on Offer In return you will receive: $160-180k + super + annual bonus Opportunity to lead and develop a team of engineers An environment that promotes continuous improvement and innovation Long-term career progression opportunities Don't miss out on this excellent opportunity!
