We are looking for a Property, Small Business & Commercial Lawyer to join our Port Macquarie office. Position: Property, Small Business Lawyer Type: Full-Time Role: We are seeking a lawyer who has experience in an array of property, business, and commercial matters, including but not limited to: Residential, strata title, community title, commercial, industrial, and rural sales & purchases Subdivisional work Creation of Easements, Rights of Way, and Restrictive Covenants Farm Succession Retail, Commercial & Rural Leasing Buying and selling small businesses Business structuring advice Contract drafting and advice The successful applicant will have: Experience and technical proficiency in PEXA and InfoTrack Experience in dealing with real estate agents, surveyors, valuers, accountants, and other related professionals Advanced communication skills High-level client management which demonstrates a strong understanding of the client’s needs and managing and meeting the client’s expectations Strong advisory skills Sound financial practices in the conduct of matters Experience working to a budget Capability to plan and grow a client base Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills Experience working in a team environment Three to five years minimum post admission experience Sound experience in property law and business law matters A desire to seek Specialist Accreditation or a master's in property and/or business law related subjects The successful applicant will receive: Excellent working conditions Interesting and challenging work in a supportive environment The opportunity to work closely with Accredited Specialists in various departments Encouragement and support with ongoing Continuing Legal Education and postgraduate qualifications Inclusive team with hands-on focus Competitive remuneration and salary package Everingham Solomons has a team of 16 solicitors, three of whom are accredited specialists across a range of areas and two solicitors having one or more postgraduate qualifications.
