Job Purpose Managing the Property Development activities in relation to town planning matters and divestments for CRN land and premises. Key Responsibilities Consulting with government authorities, communities, Architects, Legal Professionals, and planning, development, and environmental specialists for Development Assessments. Assessment of State Significant Developments and providing advice to referring applicants. Preparing briefs for Transport NSW’s stakeholders including matters related to (not limited to) heritage, contamination, rail infrastructure, assets, property and providing change of land use zonings. Managing developments impacting the Country Rail Network (CRN) land and providing planning advice for regional development. Preparing and reviewing conditions for concurrence and referral applications. Understanding and implementing the State Environmental Planning Policies (SEPP). Providing advice to customers interested in developments in/adjacent to rail corridor. Preparing land disposal and acquisition briefings for Transport NSW. Conferring with Transport NSW and environmental specialists for subdivision applications. Preparing and reviewing briefing notes for approvals. Organizing and managing third party consultations and reports. Manage a small team of development analysts and oversee all works delivered by the team. Manage development and delivery of acquisitions and disposals programs. Complete all internal and external reporting as required, including ad hoc requests. Ensure that all property management activities carried out in accordance with quality, environmental, and safety management plans. Qualifications Certificate / Diploma in Property Management / Building Sciences /Project Management. 5 year’s experience in a Real Estate or Contract Administration process environment. Ability to utilise Microsoft Office Suite (including Visio, Excel and MS Project) and record management systems to produce reports and record information to required standards. Experience in effectively managing a small team of contract administrators and associated activities, along with an understanding of contract management policies and procedures. Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team. Demonstrated written communication and IT skills.
