This role is a unique combination of lease and site management providing commercial focus that ensures rent role growth, optimised returns and a safe and professional maintenance of our Uniting Church Centre facilities. Your duties will include: Coordination of leasing and marketing of real estate property or businesses for the Queensland Synod Promote the Property Management Service, enabling and supporting our Presbyteries and Congregations to the service Source and secure prospective properties to manage through the facilitation of agreements between prospective tenants and responsible bodies. Coordinate regular property inspections to assess real estate property condition, identifying maintenance needs and ensuring properties are compliant with relevant regulations and maintained to an appropriate standard. Conduct Market research and provide advice to responsible bodies. Ensure delivery of high quality customer service and advice when responding to general enquiries from potential tenants for properties under management. Collect rents from tenants and/or issuing rental receipts. Perform market appraisals for sale or lease of real estate property or businesses. Prepare documentation and correspondence associated with the leasing of real property or businesses. Regular inspections of all facilities at the Uniting Church Centre and managing site maintenance Contract and invoice management. Your skills and experience: National Police Check Minimum three years' experience in a Residential Property Management role Regulatory Understanding: Demonstrated understanding of the Property Occupations Act 2014 (QLD) and Property Occupations Regulation 2014 (QLD). Tech-Savviness: Proficiency with property management software such as PropertyTree and other relevant digital tools. Sales Skills: Ability to engage with potential clients and convert them to new lease holders. Strong Communication: Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with tenants, vendors, and Responsible Bodies (landlords), ensuring clear and professional interactions. Excellent Organisation: Proven track record of managing multiple tasks efficiently, with strong organisational skills to ensure timely completion of responsibilities. Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on building trust and ensuring tenant and Responsible Body (Landlord) satisfaction through responsive and attentive service. Financial Management: Experience in managing budgets, rent collection, and financial reporting, with strong financial acumen to support property management operations.
