The role An opportunity has arisen for a Property Manager to join the greater Office team and be responsible for assisting the wider Property team in the day-to-day management of 8 Exhibition St & 150 Collins St. In this diverse role, you will have exposure to all aspects of managing A-grade assets, including property management, projects, customer service and financial oversights. You will be responsible for daily communication with both commercial and retail tenants, overseeing retail management, coordinating foyer activations, issuing building updates, managing the Our People program, attending tenant meetings, collaborating with the operations team, and handling office management tasks. What you will be doing Liaising with commercial and retail tenants to ensure that all day-to-day requirements are met. Ensuring that all requests are dealt with in a timely manner and by the appropriate member of the management and wider on-site contractor team (e.g. Operations team, Cleaning Manager, Security etc). Collaborating with the Senior Property Manager and wider Property Team to contribute ideas based on customer feedback to improve customer service and customer satisfaction levels. Coordinating customer forums, organising and promoting precinct events and activities. Managing the GPT customer service program 'Our People', including running monthly training talks, collating customer nominations, and delivering monthly awards as appropriate. Assisting the Senior Property Manager with all property documentation (including recommendations to co-owners and coordination documentation execution), collating information required for reporting and valuation purposes and coordinating completion of the Keppel (Co-Owner) monthly management report. Working collaboratively with the wider asset management team to develop strategic plans for the properties, focusing on the asset positioning, leasing, capital works and marketing strategies. In collaboration with the Senior Property Manager, lease existing vacancies including retail vacancies and prepare tenant retention strategies. What makes you stand out To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in commercial or industrial property management and with prior experience in a commercial team being advantageous. You will currently hold an active Agents Representative Qualification (or be willing to obtain it) and have knowledge of and understand the practical application of the Retail Leases Act, Trade Practices Act, Property, Stock and Business Agents Bill 2002 and property management practices. You will have tertiary qualifications in Property, Business, Finance, or a related field and be well-versed across the Microsoft Office suite. This role would suit someone who is a natural communicator, has exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to meet strict deadlines. Combined with the well-honed ability to juggle multiple competing priorities whilst maintaining the highest levels of customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will have the innate ability to quickly build rapport and relationships with stakeholders and a proactive mindset.
