We are looking for a Principal Coast and River Planner to take charge of strategic planning and assessment in one of the most crucial and scenic regions in Australia. This is a pivotal role in preserving the natural beauty and resilience of South Australia’s coastlines and River Murray. What You’ll Do: Lead a dedicated team addressing the most pressing coastal and river planning challenges across South Australia. Oversee assessments of major developments and offer expert advice on coastal protection and sustainable land use. Exercise delegated authority on behalf of the Coast Protection Board, ensuring responsible development that respects our environment. Special Conditions: May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties. Current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness and ability to drive is desirable. Demonstrated ability to work alone and be self-reliant. May require some intra/interstate travel. Remuneration: PO4, $110,696 min - $120,470 max p.a.
