The Opportunity Our Macquarie Park office is seeking a proactive and motivated Property and Wills & Estate Lawyer with 1-2 years of post-admission experience, who is eager to develop their career and gain invaluable experience working alongside Senior Lawyers and Partners within our dynamic Private Client and Property teams. You will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of legal matters, including: Wills and estate planning Deceased estate administration Estate disputes and contested Will litigation Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPOAs) and NCAT guardianship and administration matters Trusts and superannuation matters Property-related estate issues Drafting legal documents, including Wills, Testamentary Trusts, and Loan Agreements Advising clients and preparing formal legal opinions Assisting with estate plans and client implementations Supporting the development of our internal client referral network Property Law: Advising on property transactions, including sales and purchases of residential and commercial properties Drafting and reviewing contracts for sale, leases, and property-related agreements Conducting due diligence, including reviewing title searches, leases, and property documents Advising on property disputes, easements, and strata matters Assisting with mortgage and finance-related transactions Handling conveyancing matters from start to settlement Advising on property structuring in estate and succession planning Responsibilities Assist with advice to clients on estate, Wills, and property-related matters, including disputes. Assist with preparing and drafting complex and simple Wills and associated estate planning documents and property contracts. Conduct legal research and prepare formal opinions. Manage your own matters while collaborating with a collegiate team. Build and maintain strong client relationships. To Be Successful, You Will Demonstrate: Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong drafting and analytical abilities High levels of self-motivation and attention to detail A collaborative, team-oriented approach Strong interpersonal skills for client and counterpart negotiations Skills & Experience 1-2 years of post-admission experience in Wills, Estates, and Property Law. Knowledge of estate planning and property-related matters. Experience drafting estate documents and managing client relationships. A keen interest in building and maintaining client networks.
