About the Role Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Protection Engineers to join our team on a FIFO basis, commencing February/March 2025. In this role, you’ll contribute to the delivery of key energy projects and demonstrate expertise in: Substation commissioning, including Site Acceptance Testing. Commissioning GIS Switchgear. VLF, Tan Delta, and partial discharge testing of HV cables. Working across transmission voltages (220kV) and distribution voltages (11, 22, 33kV). Testing primary electrical equipment: circuit breakers, CTs, VTs, HV/LV switchboards, transformers, and HV busbars. Relay testing and secondary injection testing across multiple manufacturers/models. Experience with HV motors and drives. About You We’re seeking professionals with: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Advanced Diploma of Engineering (Mandatory). WA A-Grade Electrical Licence (Highly Regarded). High Voltage Switching certification. Current CPR/LVR and First Aid Certificate. A valid C-Class Driver’s Licence. Proven experience with Omicron Test Units. Working at Heights certification (or willingness to obtain). What We Offer Competitive remuneration, aligned with your experience and expertise.
