They have Consultant roles available in: Psychiatrist Clinical Director - Adult Inpatient Mental Health Psychiatrist Clinical Director - Adult Community Mental Health Psychiatrist Inpatient Mental Health Psychiatrist - MHEC Psychiatrist - Acute Care Service Psychiatrist - Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist - Treatment Team - Tweed & Grafton Psychiatrist - Consultation Liaison Key Responsibilities: Leads the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist psychiatric services to patients. Promotes patient safety and quality of care. Provides leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workers. In collaboration with the Medical Co-Director, Clinical Leads and other Consultants, works to achieve national, state and EMHS performance standards and targets. Works within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the EMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee. Essential Selection Criteria: Coming from the UK: Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), awarded under any RCPsych curriculum from August 2007 to date following satisfactory completion of a General Medical Council or Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board approved specialty training program in psychiatry in the United Kingdom. Other Countries: Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent. Demonstrated clinical skills and experience working with mental health problems in Adult Mental Health and/or CAMHS. Demonstrated experience and ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
