Our clinic combines Psychology and Allied Health Services with a focus on providing exceptional care to our clients. We're looking for a motivated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The Role: You will work alongside a friendly and supportive team of professionals, delivering high-quality psychological services to a wide range of clients. You will be working with all age groups, from primary school aged children through to adults, offering therapeutic support for various psychological concerns. Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) is welcomed in our practice with the opportunity for any interested therapists with experience or a future interest in working with therapy dogs to do so in the counselling room or 'walk and talk' around Ringwood Lake opposite our premises. Key Responsibilities: Provide high quality psychological services to clients across all age groups. Work with clients on issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and more. Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical notes and reports, with dedicated hour of your day set aside to take care of this to avoid burnout. Flexible hours available including half days. Admin support: Our dedicated team handles marketing, bookings and payments so you can focus on clients. Dedicated hour in addition to lunch break to keep up to date with records and reports if working a full day. Monthly peer supervision. The opportunity to grow and develop within our multidisciplinary clinic, with a team that values mutual support and collaboration. The Ideal Candidate: Registered Psychologist with AHPRA. Must have own Malpractice Insurance, eligibility for Medicare Provider Number and a valid WWCC and Police Check. Previous experience in private practice is highly regarded as well as the ability to utilise different therapeutic modalities to suit individual client needs. Experience is essential in working with both child and adolescent and adult populations. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients of different ages and backgrounds. Experience or a special interest in working with clients with eating disorders is a bonus but not essential. A motivated self-starter with a passion for providing excellent care and support. You care deeply about your own wellbeing and understand the importance of maintaining work-life balance.
