About the Role We are seeking an experienced Counselling, Clinical, Educational or Developmental Psychologist to provide support to children enrolled in our Outpost Program. Our well established and highly regarded Outpost Program provides comprehensive in-school support for students with hearing loss who use oral communication from K-12 at our partner primary and secondary schools around the Perth Metropolitan area. Reporting to the Principal, the Psychologist will provide hands on support in a collaborative and welcoming team environment, to identify and address the psychological, social, emotional, behavioural and cognitive needs of children. The role offers genuine autonomy to manage your day independently and the capacity to use your knowledge and experience to undertake continuous improvement work within our Program. This is a part time (0.6 FTE) parental leave coverage role ideally commencing in April 2025 until February 2026, with future opportunities possible. Flexible days and hours to be negotiated with the successful candidate. About You As we pride ourselves on being experts in our field, we are seeking a registered Psychologist who shares our commitment to excellence by using evidence informed, child safe practices and contemporary positive behaviour support to deliver the highest level of service to our children and families. You will also be a visible and inclusive professional who has extensive knowledge of all aspects of childhood development and a commitment to working in partnership with families/caregivers as a part of a family centred practice model. As this role will support students in our schools around the Perth Metropolitan area, a WA Drivers’ Licence and access to a reliable vehicle are required. Interested?
