About You This role will see you counselling, assessing, and supporting clients with a variety of needs. The right candidate will have a strong interest in workplace support and couples counselling. You will assist with the increasing demand for specialised workplace support services and psychotherapy. Your interest and knowledge in these areas will be used to support other practitioners within the workplace, including junior members of staff such as students and Provisional Psychologists. You will bring a strong work ethic with an ability to work well independently and collaboratively. You thrive in flexible environments, where you can experience a variety of tasks and clients requiring different skill sets in one day. Responsibilities: Deliver psychological assessment, diagnosis, interventions, and psychotherapy for a range of clients. Work with clients of various gender identities, cultures, ages, and abilities. Provision of psychological and related assessments. Adhere to APS Code of Ethics, maintaining privacy and confidentiality of client information. Ensure clinical accountability with records. Assist in the development and education of other practitioners. Relevant tertiary degree qualifications. Proficiency in workplace support psychological assessment and intervention. Experience delivering psychological services to children, adolescents, and adults. Working with Children’s Check, National/International Police Check. Professional Indemnity Insurance. Strong interest and expertise/experience in couples counselling. Second language (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Punjabi) to allow greater acceptance of referrals for clients whose second language is English.
