Employment Type : Permanent Full Time; 38 hours per weekPosition Classification : Registered NurseRemuneration : $72,152 - $101,299 per annum + Annual Leave Loading + 11.5% SuperannuationLocation : Royal Prince Alfred HospitalRequisition ID : REQ541635About the Opportunity In this role, you will be implementing disease control, surveillance and follow-up activities in relation to notifiable infectious diseases, in line with the NSW Public Health Act, 2010. You will also be assisting with outbreak management by providing communicable disease control advice, education and consultative service to other health professionals, members of the public, institutions, schools and child care centres. Ideal Candidate Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Extensive experience working in a hospital, community or public health setting. Knowledge of the role of public health units in communicable disease control in NSW and of the role of public health nurses in the public health unit.
