Join us and be part of a team that values your impact. Your day will be dynamic and varied, combining leadership with hands-on expertise. You'll guide and manage the Communicable Disease Control team, coordinating responses to outbreaks and leading investigations into disease trends. Working closely with colleagues, you'll provide invaluable advice on immunisation and environmental health issues. You'll spend time analysing data to shape public health priorities and ensuring the continuous improvement of health programs. You'll also lead research initiatives, mentor trainees, and contribute to the development of local and state-wide protocols. Collaboration with local and national health teams, as well as fostering a supportive work culture, will be at the core of everything you do. You will receive a competitive remuneration package value from $368,514 (L18) up to $460,349 (L27) comprising salary rates between $100.78 (L18) and $127.77 p.h. (L27), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value. Let's talk about you!
