About The Role Kingfisher Bay Resort on K'gari is seeking a motivated, reliable and professional Purchasing Storeperson to join our dynamic Purchasing team. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this physically demanding position plays a crucial role in managing inventory, picking, packing, and moving goods around our resort, ensuring the smooth operation of supply needs. We are looking for someone with excellent stock control proficiencies using SwiftPOS, overall good computer literacy, and data entry accuracy with proven knowledge of food and beverage products and services. This role requires an agile and energetic team player able to work in a high-pressure, busy environment with a large amount of manual handling involved. This is a permanent part-time position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight. Flexibility in working over weekends may be required. The successful candidate should be available for an immediate start and can be either local to Hervey Bay with the willingness to commute between River Heads and K'gari daily or be able to relocate to the island for a live-on position (affordable accommodation cost of $150.44 per week including utilities, Wi-Fi, and meals would be incurred for a live-on option).
