As they continue to grow, we are seeking a QC Supervisor to join their team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence of their products. Duties: Leading a small team of Chemists, ensuring training and being a mentor to junior staff. Performing a wide range of quality control tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with established specifications. Developing and validating analytical methods for the analysis of personal care products. Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring they are in optimal working condition. Analysing and interpreting data, preparing reports, and making recommendations for process improvements based on quality control findings. Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and ensuring all products meet regulatory and safety requirements. Investigating and resolving quality-related issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions. Maintaining accurate records, documenting test results, and creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality control processes. Operating HPLC daily, troubleshooting, analysing data and results. Skills/experience: Degree in Chemistry or equivalent. GMP Experience is a MUST. Strong Communication skills are a MUST. Knowledge of method validation procedures. Possess good knowledge of quality and safety standards. Shows a can-do attitude with a strong attention to detail and accuracy in quality of work.
