My client operates in the electronics manufacturing and repair space and is actively seeking an Operations Manager to lead their Manufacturing Facility in the Fraser Coast Region. This facility will require the development of a local supply chain. It is expected that the Operations Manager will be responsible for operating a facility of production technicians and administrative support staff, taking the greenfield site to a productive facility. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Manufacturing Experience Experience in Electronics Manufacturing preferred Possess Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Tertiary qualifications or substantial experience in similar fields. Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project or similar. Ability to Read, Interpret and Markup Engineering Drawings & Electrical Schematics Understanding of Project Acceptance and Delivery Life Cycles. Experience in implementation and development of QSE management systems. Knowledge of aviation and defence would be advantageous RESPONSIBILITIES/AUTHORITY Responsibility for the Operation of the Fraser Coast Facility. Lead, Enable and Support the Queensland based team Delivery of Organisation Key Performance Indicators and Targets Drive continuous improvement Positively represent and project the business in all interactions DUTIES AND OBJECTIVES Establish and Operate manufacturing Facility in the Fraser Coast Region to support existing Contracted Works. Ensure Quality, Safety and Environmental targets are met Build, Manage and Mentor Team of Production and Support workers.
