Reporting to the Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will implement, enforce and continuously review the Quality Specifications System. You will ensure accuracy of reporting and provide admin and technical support to the Quality Assurance team as required. Key accountabilities include: To receive and prioritise any new and amended product specification requests, as received by 3rd parties. To liaise with the Group QS Manager, and where necessary with the relevant customer representative (eg SunPork) to ascertain priorities, due dates, and other specification details. To ensure that all specifications, new and amended, meet regulatory and customer requirements in place at Swickers Kingaroy and Eagle Farm. This includes but is not limited to: Food Standards Australia New Zealand Code (FSANZ Code), Safefood QLD regulations, export Approved Arrangements and Meat Hygiene Assessment Guidelines, and retailer standards such as BRC, Woolworths, Coles, etc. To liaise with the QA Coordinators, the Technical QM, the Plant & Department Managers, and where necessary with the relevant customer representative (SunPork), to discuss any issues with received specifications and ensure that they are followed up and corrected if applicable. To ensure that new / amended product specifications are processed and finalised within approved timeframes, ensuring that customers are provided with all information in a prompt and professional manner. To update and maintain information captured in the Bill of Materials (BOM). To operate the point-of-sale labelling systems on site, by ways of creating and amending labels as required, and communicating all amendments to relevant parties to ensure timely transitioning. To report any issues and ensure prompt follow-up with the relevant departments, including Maintenance and where required Contractors. To ensure that any issues arising with POS labelling systems that impact legal requirements and production are dealt with in a timely manner. To liaise with QA Coordinators to ensure regular on-the-floor monitoring of labelling systems and their functionality, and report any issues upwards as required. To ensure that efficient communication is maintained between all departments, to guarantee that all relevant teams are made aware of amended or new specifications. To continuously improve the QA Specifications systems and role. Monitor processes of areas on a daily basis and conduct all relevant checks as required in a QA officer role. What we’re looking for: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. 3-5 years’ experience working in a meat processing environment preferable. HACCP training or experience required. Experience in high level administration - production environment highly regarded. Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated safe work practices. Strong communication and consultative approach. Time Management.
