Add expected salary to your profile for insights The Role Anglicare are currently seeking to hire a Full Time Permanent Quality Assurance & Improvement Lead to join our team based in Fortitude Valley.The Quality Assurance & Improvement Lead is a domain expert working closely with frontline service teams, Service Managers, Group Managers and Practice Development to support effective implementation of Anglicare's Clinical and Care Governance Framework.The position will shape a continuous improvement culture and mindset, leading the development of a sustainable program to deliver continuous improvement through coaching and mentoring, aligned with Anglicare's Clinical and Care Governance Framework.Whilst this job is based at our head office at Duncan Street in Fortitude Valley, there is the requirement to travel across all Residential Aged Care (RAC) services. Some of the responsibilities of the role will include: Leading, driving, implementing and being responsible for best practice quality management systems and programs within the portfolio (proactive and reactive) to align with Anglicare's service models and practice frameworks, standards, and legislative requirements. Driving and supporting the application of risk management principles and practices including risk identification, monitoring, managing, and reporting. Driving continuous improvement at the system, process, and cultural level; from compliance to commitment. Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance clinical and care governance to deliver exceptional client outcomes and client experience. What you will bring to the role: Current National Police Certificate. Relevant tertiary AHPRA health qualification, preferably RN. Relevant credential or qualification in Quality Assurance. Current Queensland Driver License and own reliable vehicle. Demonstrated experience in implementing best practice quality management systems. Experienced with application of integrated risk management framework. In depth understanding of relevant legislation, relevant program requirements and the reform agenda (including Human Services Quality Framework, NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework, Aged Care Quality Standards, National Standards for Mental Health Services etc). Experience with quality/risk/client safety information systems (e.g., RiskMan) and client care / information management systems. Credible, engaging communicator and highly effective report writer.
