The Role: We have a permanent position based at our site for a Quality Assurance Officer to join our team. This role will suit someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Quality role, or a highly skilled tradesperson looking for an opportunity to get off the tools, and use your experience to: Provide support to all business functions across the Quality Management System, and manufacturing operations. Work with our QA Manager, Supervisors, and Project Management team to monitor, develop, and implement quality processes and improvements. To be considered for this role you will have: A quality, or extensive trade qualification and experience working in a manufacturing environment. A commitment to health, safety, environment and quality. Be a solutions-focused problem solver. Enjoy a fast pace where thinking on your feet and managing multiple projects energises you. Experience providing hands-on practical trade advice. Have excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills. Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products – in particular outlook, word and excel. Previous practical experience within Defence, and Vehicle manufacturing related industry will be highly regarded.
