As we continue to scale globally, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Supervisor, a newly created role reporting to our Sourcing & Production Manager, which will drive and uphold the superior standards our brand is known for. ABOUT YOU: You have experience in quality assurance, preferably in the apparel or textile industry. You thrive in detail-oriented roles and have excellent problem-solving skills. You have a strong understanding of garment construction, materials, and testing standards. You can manage multiple stakeholders, from suppliers to internal teams, ensuring quality standards are met. You are proactive, solutions-focused, and eager to build and improve quality processes. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Bulk Sample Approvals: Track samples and ensure timely dispatch. Measure and inspect bulk samples against pre-production approvals. Approve goods for release to freight forwarders. Identify and resolve any measurement or construction issues before production release. Quality Standards & Protocols: Develop and manage MAAP’s quality standards for components and finished goods. Collaborate with Product Development to define measurement tolerances and workmanship benchmarks. Create and maintain MAAP’s QA manual. Work closely with suppliers to align on quality expectations and protocols. Support the design and development teams with quality considerations in sourcing decisions. Implementing Quality Processes: Determine testing requirements for components and finished goods. Define inspection protocols and oversee execution. Review internal inspection reports and coordinate third-party testing/inspections. Ensure best-value solutions for quality testing globally. Managing Quality Failures: Investigate and resolve QA risks before bulk production. Establish quality grading (A, B, C) and response strategies for failed products. Coordinate rework solutions with suppliers and internal teams. Minimise delays in product launches due to quality concerns. Handle cost negotiations with suppliers for quality issues and credit notes. Act as the primary point of contact for all sales channels on quality matters. Quarterly Reporting & Claims Management: Develop quality KPIs and review processes. Implement a supplier claims process to manage quality-related credits. OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH: Compliance Management: Ensure regulatory compliance across all regions MAAP operates in. Material Certification: Maintain necessary documentation for sustainable and regulatory material claims (e.g., PFAS-free, GRS, GOTS). Wholesale Documentation: Manage required compliance for wholesale accounts.
