Job Description
Reference: GTG001380-DL-1 Exciting new opportunity as Quality Control Inspector This role encompasses a range of duties, from inspecting products to supporting the maintenance and improvement of the quality management system, ensuring compliance with both project and internal specifications. Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed inspections of welding, castings, forged products, and fabricated items, ensuring they meet technical drawings and specifications. Apply basic drafting skills to interpret technical documents. Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. Prepare failure reports, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with various departments to improve product quality and support continuous improvement. Communicate effectively with customers, addressing their concerns. Be flexible in working overtime when required to meet project deadlines. Qualifications and Experience: SAIW Level 1 or 2 certification or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years' experience in quality inspection. Experience with Quality Management Systems, ideally including ISO 9001 auditing. Knowledge of industry materials is beneficial. Experience in a similar role in engineering or manufacturing. Skills and Attributes: Strong communication and technical reporting skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team. Professionalism in customer interactions and feedback management.
