Quality Controller (Precision Components MFG) Excellent career exposure and opportunity Great company with a positive working culture Multicultural workplace environment About Us Our client is one of the world leading precision component manufacturers for Defence, Aerospace, Medical, Electronics and Commercial Engineering sectors. They are currently looking for a Quality Controller to join their team in Adelaide. About the role: Conduct inspections of manufactured components using calibrated equipment in line with customer and industry requirements. Facilitate clear communication across all levels of the organization, particularly regarding quality and production issues. Review and verify inspection records to ensure accuracy and completeness. Assist in the development and delivery of internal training programs. Continuously refine and improve quality procedures and documentation. Ensure compliance with company quality policies and certification requirements. Manage and monitor calibration records, ensuring measuring equipment is maintained and compliant. Support the Quality Manager with conformance reports, remote source inspections, and other quality-related tasks as needed. Skills and Experience: Technical Expertise: Proficiency in using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and a strong understanding of mechanical drawing tools. Qualifications: Trade certification in Metal Machining. Industry Knowledge: Experience in the defence industry is highly advantageous. Technical Skills: Ability to interpret technical drawings and diagrams with precision. Quality Management: Strong understanding of documented quality management systems and compliance requirements.
