Quality Coordinator - Transmission Lines - Billion Dollar Project Elecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border. This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW. Elecnor Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Coordinator to join the team onsite in rural NSW on a 14/7 roster.This could suit a local candidate, or someone who is interested in performing the role on a FIFO or DIDO basis. Primary Accountabilities: Develop and implement construction and source inspection planning, monitor and report on inspection progress. Ensure required quality documentation including but not limited to verification plans, Inspection and test plans, field inspection checklists, quality standards are implemented to ensure compliance with established codes, Elecnor standards, client specifications and regulatory requirements. Review and approve supplier / sub-contractor project deliverables ensuring alignment and compliance to specified standards and regulations. Reviewing of RFQ documents to ensure project quality specification requirements have been adequately defined and addressed. Develop project ITP's & verification plans. Review & approve sub-contractor quality deliverables including MDR dossiers. Skills & Experience: Demonstrated experience dealing with and managing subcontractors. Technical writing and reviewing experience. A minimum of 3+ years' experience in a similar role. Civil/Electrical background is highly beneficial. We’re building a diverse workforce.
