Key position forming an integral part of the hospital team The Opportunity Sunnybank Private Hospital has a fantastic opportunity available for a Quality and Risk Manager to join our team!Your responsibilities will include: Monitor, develop and implement strategies and systems that ensure the delivery of safe, high quality and patient centred services. Foster a culture of safety across the hospital through excellent communication and continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to national policies, the National Safety and Quality Health Service and supporting standards and other regulatory requirements. Establish collaborative working relationships with clinical and non-clinical leaders across the Hospital and the broader Healthscope network. About You You are a self-motivated professional with excellent communication and leadership skills to drive a culture of safety across a medium sized multidisciplinary organisation. With excellent organisational skills, you are detail oriented and have proven strategic planning, workforce management and policy development skills.Your ability to lead, empower and engage staff, and act as positive role model is essential for this role. Your Skills And Experience Bachelor's degree in nursing, or healthcare administration Minimum of 5 years' experience in an acute hospital setting Demonstrated experience with facilitating activities or processes to achieving hospital wide accreditation Expert knowledge of clinical governance and risk management systems that promote high quality care Demonstrated capacity to collect, interpret and use clinical data to inform clinical care and hospital processes Experience in change management Postgraduate qualifications in Management / Quality and Safety are desirable.
