Role Overview: As a Quality and Compliance Support , you will play a key role in supporting the organisation’s commitment to providing quality care. You will assist in ensuring that AHS adheres to all relevant standards, guidelines, and regulations, including those related to the NDIS and Aged Care sectors. You will support the implementation and maintenance of our quality management systems, monitor compliance across the organisation, and collaborate with staff to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Responsibilities: As the successful candidate you will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties: Monitor and maintain compliance with NDIS, Aged Care Quality Standards, and other relevant regulations. Assist in the development, implementation, and review of policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality standards are met. Conduct internal audits and quality checks to assess adherence to care plans and service delivery standards. Report on compliance status and provide recommendations for improvements. Assist in preparing for external audits and regulatory reviews. Provide support and guidance to staff on compliance matters and quality improvement processes. Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for service improvement. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities and audits. Develop and deliver training sessions to staff on quality and compliance standards. Ensure that feedback from clients and families is integrated into the quality improvement process. The ideal candidate To be successful in this role, you will need: A strong understanding of the NDIS and Aged Care Quality Standards. Experience in quality management and regulatory compliance within the healthcare or disability sector. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and support staff at all levels. Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant compliance management software. Experience in internal auditing and preparing for external audits. Desirable Qualifications: Relevant qualification in Aged Care, Disability, Health, or a related field. Experience in auditing or quality assurance roles.
