Along with operations from our quarry servicing Victoria and New South Wales, we also provide offsite mobile crushing and screening services. About the Role A unique opportunity is available at LS Quarry for a Quarry Manager to join our Howlong quarry operations team. Reporting to the General Manager Quarries & Concrete, you will lead the production team by championing efficiency, collaboration and safety leadership. You will be across all the details, quick to adapt, and be prepared to try new things. As a key member of our Lima South team, you will : Promote a strong safety culture Monitor and control production to ensure product is in specification and liaise with the laboratory technicians Maintain a competent and flexible workforce Ensure daily production targets are met Arrange services provided by third parties as required Control and continuously reduce costs Work with Maintenance management to ensure maximum fleet uptime Liaise with the transport/delivery drivers to ensure customers orders are fulfilled as required Continue to upskill your team and employ staff when required Essential skills and experience : Quarry Manager Certificate Experience with crushing and screening equipment Competence in operating quarry vehicles such as Front End Loaders, Excavators, Dozers Experience as a person managing all production functions in a quarry Desirable skills and experience : Sand Quarry experience Product testing knowledge Leadership and management experience A competitive package will be negotiated including a work vehicle for the successful candidate.
