Quarry Operator - Kalgoorlie(Residential) Job category: Aggregates and Quarrying Job type: Permanent - Full time About this role Holcim has been servicing the infrastructure, construction and mining industries for more than 110 years and employs over 3,000 staff across 300 sites. Part of the world's largest construction materials company Holcim is a leading supplier of concrete, aggregates and precast products. The aggregates business operates over 70 quarry sites producing hard rock, sand and gravel materials essential for the construction industry. About the role: Operator position Permanent, full-time position with the world's largest building materials company A Competitive remuneration package including OT Full training can be provided for sales loader, dump truck, water cart, weighbridge operation A company culture focused on the recognition of effort and reward for achievement We are looking for a Multi Skilled Operator for our Kalgoorlie site - an individual who has worked in a quarry or similar environment before would be preferable. Responsibilities in the role will include quarry work with loaders, operating water cart & dump truck. About you: This role is key to efficient operations on the site. Experience in a mix of the below would be considered favourably, but training can also be provided: Experience with Front end loader operations Water cart operations experience Sales loader experience using Load rite or other relevant system Familiarity with quarry products and QA manufacturing/stockpiling process preferable You must have strong attention to detail i.e. with product pile management You must be flexible and willing to work across all facets of quarry activities You must be prepared to work overtime Our strength is our people - their expertise and skills, their ability to find innovative solutions and their commitment to high performance.
