Employer: Peninsula Home HospiceLocation: MelbourneType: Part-time (22.5hrs p/w)Closing Date: 15 February 2025 The RACF Project Officer will collaborate with palliative care teams, facility staff and managers, and key stakeholders to implement initiatives towards the improvement of palliative care in aged care as identified in the recent Aged Care report (available upon request). As part of this collaboration the Project Officer will regularly communicate with current aged care service providers, provide training and assist in the development of sustainable initiatives within facilities. Selection Criteria To be successful you will be a Registered Nurse with: Proven experience in project management within a healthcare setting, preferably in palliative care. Strong understanding of the aged care sector and the unique challenges related to palliative care in residential facilities. Experience in training provision Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
