We’re looking for an experienced R&D Tax Manager / Client Manager to join us on this exciting journey. This role is perfect for someone with a strong accounting or tax background who thrives on building client relationships, overseeing R&D tax projects, and driving business growth by upselling and converting clients into memberships. Experience in tax planning and R&D audits will set you apart in this role. What You’ll Do Client Management (70% of the Role): R&D Tax Incentives (70% of Client Management): Lead and manage R&D tax projects as the primary client contact. Oversee a team of two contractors delivering most of the technical work. Review R&D tax claims for accuracy and compliance. Provide strategic advice to help clients maximize their R&D tax benefits. Assist with the preparation and management of R&D audits, ensuring smooth resolution and compliance. Tax and Bookkeeping Services (30% of Client Management): Oversee and coordinate tax compliance and bookkeeping projects. Provide clients with tax planning insights to optimize their financial outcomes. Business Development & Upselling (30% of the Role): Identify opportunities to upsell services to existing clients, including R&D Tax Incentives, Tax, and Bookkeeping. Convert existing clients into memberships, positioning MiracleMint’s full suite of services as a long-term growth partner. Build strong client relationships that foster trust and lead to additional business opportunities. What We’re Looking For Degree-qualified accountant with tax or R&D experience. CPA or CA qualifications preferred. Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws, including tax planning and R&D tax incentives. Experience with R&D audits and their management is highly desirable. Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships. Excellent communication skills and a client-first mindset. Entrepreneurial thinker with a focus on delivering value to clients.
