REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - ELECTRICAL & COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY This company is Australia's largest supplier of test & measurement and radio/wireless communications equipment. They have been in operation for decades and have become the trusted supplier for not only state-of-the-art technology and equipment but also expert advice and services. They supply all industries including OEMs, aviation, medical, universities, electrical trade, utilities, mining, construction, and many more, with a huge range from a number of manufacturers. The company has offices in every major city around Australia, along with several regional locations, and they have a first-class reputation for staff retention and development. Position The position of Darwin Regional Sales and Operations Manager has now become available. The position will see you take over the complete management of all activities out of the Darwin office, which is a single-person branch. Roughly 60% of your responsibilities will be focused on sales activities, including managing the portfolio of existing accounts, as well as strategically growing the region with the onboarding of new clients. 40% of the role would be looking after the branch from an operational level and ensuring that equipment is received and dispatched correctly, product upkeep is maintained, and other typical day-to-day branch activities are managed. As you will be the sole person in Darwin, you will have complete autonomy to do the job. On offer is a salary ranging from $130k - $140k inc car allowance + super + uncapped commission. Candidate The role does require some form of technical aptitude, and therefore any prior sales experience from within test and measurement, instrumentation, radio communications, or any type of electrical or industrial technology would be highly advantageous. It is also essential to be able to demonstrate your ability to work in a purely autonomous capacity. Although the role requires sales and operational responsibilities, we are looking for candidates who have genuine sales drive and proactivity and a desire to grow accounts and increase the number of clients in Darwin.
