RN2C - CLINICAL NURSE - Safety & Quality Job no: 892731Work type: Part timeLocation: Adelaide CBDCategories: Nursing/Midwifery Women's and Children's Health Network, Paediatric Medicine, North Adelaide (5006) Salary Classification - RN/M2C - Clinical Nurse/Midwife LV2 - $87,416 to $110,497 Employment Part time - Ongoing Permanent About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Paediatric Medicine team as a Clinical Nurse - Safety & Quality , where you will be responsible for: Integrate contemporary information and evidence with personal experience to support the decision making, innovative thinking and objective analysis that are expected at this level. Use available information systems to inform decision making; monitor and coordinate processes for quality improvement; ensure safety and quality is not compromised; contribute to evaluating outcomes and convey information to staff when required. Contributes to the implementation and monitoring of clinical procedures and procedural compliance. Supports the review of incidents and accidents arising within the Division, with a focus on prevention and reduction of incidents and accidents. Utilise a variety of communication techniques and media to positively engage stakeholders. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse. Ability to be creative, innovative, and flexible when approaching issues within the healthcare setting. Highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation. Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, industrial agreements, standards, codes, ethics, and competency standards.
