Job duration: Fixed term temporary Part time for 5 months Key Responsibilities Deliver high level clinical Medical Imaging Services and clinical leadership in Cardiac Angiography. Participation as required in the provision of after hours radiography services to the cardiac catheterisation laboratories and hybrid operating theatre. Apply professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence. Contribute to the development of clinical practices, procedures, protocols and manuals, databases for research and educational tools that support the continuum of care engaging cross-discipline referencing where relevant. Provide clinical advice with regard to angiography to medical, nursing and other radiographic health practitioners within the specialty work unit. Actively participate in continuous professional development activities such as research, conferences, seminars and staff in-services. Provide clinical practice supervision and education to students, Graduates, Work experience students and less experienced Medical radiation practitioners to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards within the cardiac investigations unit, including a role in competency training and skill development to less experienced radiographers. Utilise high level of skills, knowledge, experience and clinical leadership to manage individual daily caseload.
