Radiologist - Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist The Department of Medical Imaging at the Mackay Base Hospital is looking for a Radiologist Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist to join their team on a Permanent Full-Time basis. Mackay Hospital and Health Service Mackay is a vibrant regional centre in tropical North Queensland, servicing a population of over 180,000. The Mackay Isaac Whitsunday Region has a thriving economy that includes a diverse range of tourism, agriculture, industry, mining, education and health industries. Mackay provides relaxed and comfortable rural and coastal living opportunities, only an hour flight from Brisbane and a short distance to the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef. The Medical Imaging Department delivers a range of services including General Radiography, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound, Intervention, Fluoroscopy, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Theatre II. The service includes remote rural reporting for MHHS rural sites, including CT services at Proserpine and Bowen. Salary Information (L18 – L24, L25 – L27) Total remuneration value of up to $470,780 (L24) is comprised of: A salary between $204,206 - $237,196 (L18-L24) Total remuneration value of up to $514,452 (L27) is comprised of: A salary between $244,201 - $258,910 (L25-L27) Other Benefits Include 12.75% employer superannuation contribution 17.5% leave loading is paid for 4 weeks leave Generous Salary Sacrificing (conditions apply) Professional Development Leave 3.6 weeks p.a.
