As a React Native Mobile Application Developer, you'll be crucial to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of the company's platform, focusing on native iOS and Android applications. Working in an agile Engineering Team, you'll collaborate with Architecture, Product Management, and Design Teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.Your role involves maintaining exceptional user experiences, ensuring code stability, and applying design best practices to create intuitive, accessible mobile interfaces that meet customer and end-user needs.Your initial responsibilities will include: Collaborate with the Engineering and Product teams to translate business requirements into features and applications. Provide regular leadership, mentoring and technical coaching to a growing team. Work closely with designers, product, and other engineers to design, build, and ship new features for the platform. Evaluate and improve the performance, durability, and security of applications in production. Participate in the agile process by being an active contributor in daily stand-ups, sprint kick-offs and retrospectives. The successful applicant will have: Proficiency in developing and distributing native mobile applications for the iOS and Android platforms. Proficiency in modern JS. TypeScript experience highly regarded. Proficiency with React Native and related tooling is a must. Experience with Unit Testing techniques and best practices. Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL. Knowledge of modern build pipelines and tools for the native mobile ecosystem. Knowledge of monitoring, debugging and benchmarking practices (and relevant tooling) for native applications. Extensive experience with Git and Source Control tools. Critical thinking and the ability to use relevant data to justify choices.
