About Our Client Our client is a well-established and highly regarded Australian architecture and design firm with a strong reputation for delivering award-winning projects. With a rich history spanning decades, they specialise in designing innovative, sustainable, and high-quality spaces across various sectors, including residential, commercial, hospitality, education, and public infrastructure. Their team is passionate about creating environments that inspire and enhance communities, blending creativity with functionality. Job Description Answering and directing incoming calls. Greeting visitors with a professional and friendly attitude. Maintaining a polished and welcoming reception area and boardrooms. Managing the coffee machine, including ordering supplies. Sorting, stamping, and distributing internal and external mail. Monitoring the company email inbox and responding as needed. Handling courier bookings and receiving deliveries. Assisting with catering orders for meetings and events when required. Ensuring meeting rooms and kitchen areas are clean and well-stocked. Typing reports, scanning, copying, and collating documents. Keeping track of office meetings and staff movements. Assisting with tracking subconsultant invoices. Monitoring staff timesheets in liaison with the Finance Manager. Supporting the team with general administrative tasks as required. The Successful Applicant The Successful Candidate Will Have: A warm, professional, and friendly communication style. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. A proactive and can-do attitude. Experience in a receptionist role (preferred but not essential). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). The ability to maintain a polished and professional front desk presence. A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist where needed. Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
