Regional Manager, VIC & TAS - Business Development The Regional Manager - Victoria and Tasmania will work closely with our partner channel (Brokers, Accountants, Vendors etc.) as their dedicated Regional Manager to help thousands of Australian business owners find the perfect finance solution for their businesses. This role will see you prospecting, establishing and maintaining relationships within a portfolio of accredited partners to drive deal volume and position Valiant as the trusted partner for all business and commercial finance solutions. Reporting directly to the National Manager - Partner Distribution, you’ll lead the entire Victorian and Tasmania operation for Valiant. Daily Responsibilities Implement a strategic plan to engage new prospective partners to refer business and deliver territory sales volumes. Build trusted relationships with high-value referral partners to ensure regular and repeat use of Valiant’s services for their customers. Provide training, demos and guidance of Valiant’s product offering and tools to upskill partners to do commercial finance transactions themselves, integrating Valiant’s offering into their day-to-day work. Achieving monthly sales and conversion targets within agreed KPI's. Contributing regularly to the development of new and improved processes within the team. Be a brand ambassador and represent Valiant at industry events. Requirements 5+ years of sales and business development experience. Valid Australian drivers license and your own car. Commercial and business credit experience which enables you to provide feedback on live deal scenarios (working capital, asset finance, commercial). Strong network of mortgage brokers, accounts, advisors, Vendors, Dealerships, etc. Exceptional phone communication skills with a natural ability to build trust and rapport. Strong presentation and facilitation skills. Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
