We are currently seeking a diligent, pragmatic and solution focused Quality Improvement Specialist to manage the clinical and accreditation auditing program across a portfolio of Residential Aged Care homes. This role covers locations from Waitara in Northern Sydney to homes in South East Queensland. As this role will involve frequent travelling to Homes across the region, a valid driver’s license and own motor vehicle is essential and your base location will be in one of your local homes. This role will be joining our established Quality Improvement Specialist Team and will report to the Quality Manager. You will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the quality assurance and improvement program across homes, identifying opportunities for improvement, supporting high quality care and service delivery in accordance with relevant regulations and ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards. Your passion for quality care, collaborative approach and ability to develop strong trusted partnerships with your stakeholders, will support your success. Within this role you’ll be responsible for: Conducting timely, accurate and comprehensive audits of quality of care standards and pre-accreditation assessments for an allocated RAC region Tracking, reporting and analysing high impact, high clinical risk, and clinical indicators Recommending and supporting quality of care improvements to address identified non-compliance Providing support and coaching in quality assurance, risk identification, mitigation and continuous improvement to key stakeholders The ideal applicant will have excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and coach others.
